Take unto you the WHOLE armor of God…..
Scripture for Today: Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:13
Christians are engaged in spiritual warfare against a powerful enemy. "You're going to face a powerful, invisible enemy every day-the Devil. Put on your body armor and be prepared to fight him and his demonic hosts. Put on every piece of your battle dress" (Ephesians 6:10-20). Paul lists seven pieces of equipment every Christian should wear to win this spiritual battle:
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer…(verses 14-18a)
We have to understand that we are in a war. This battle is for real!!! The devil is out to destroy us and to cause us to retreat. The bibles says that he (Satan) comes to steal, kill and to destroy, but I (Christ) come that you may have life and that more abundantly. God has provided everything that we need to win the battle. But are we willing to dress appropriately to win. Not a single military soldier that is engaged in battle will dress as he would if he were a civilian. There are certain articles of clothing that we have to have in order to properly engage in battle. We must be well armed making use of all the proper defenses and weapons for repelling the temptations and strategies of Satan—get and exercise all the Christian graces, the whole amour, that no part be naked and exposed to the enemy. We read in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5: "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."(taken from the amplified bible)
We must realize that our battle is with the enemy (Satan) not our sisters and brothers. And to be honest, not with the world. We should be fighting our true enemy and only our true enemy; SATAN. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Every piece we need to win the battle has been provided and is stocked in the heavenlies. Take what you need and fight to win! God intends us to be "more than conquerors," but we have to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Be dressed for battle, keep your armor on, and when it's all over you'll still be on your feet and victorious. For God has given us every piece of armor we need, except for our backs. But like He did for the Children of Israel when they were at the Red Sea, the mountains on each side of them and Pharaoh at their backs. He causes the flame of fire to go behind us and is a protector for our back. God’s got your back!

OOOOOOHH Thank you , God is so gooooood. I was just in the middle of a battle (did not recognize it) when I stopped for a moment to read my email. After that I said o.k. I girded up my mind, focused on something else. That was around 9:30 a.m. – By 10:00 a.m. The situation is handled.
