Word for Today........WAIT!!!!
Wait upon the Lord.......
Wait, is a simple word with only one syllable. However, it is one of the most powerful words when it comes to receiving the things of God. Many times we quote this scripture with passion......I’ve done it too! We focus our attention on the fact that we are going to fly high in the sky and we will be strong, but what we must focus on is not the wings as eagles, or the running without being weary, or even the walking without fainting. The thing that we must focus on is "WAIT UPON THE LORD." In today's world this is almost impossible to use the word wait without someone giving you a look of disgust. No one wants to wait or even has the time to wait. Think about the last time you were forced to wait on an order at your local restaurant or fast food place. But if we are going to receive the promises of God, we must LEARN the "art" of waiting. I have come to realize that waiting is not about being idle or doing nothing. In Webster's dictionary, the word wait means "being and remaining ready and available for use." Therein lies our problem. Many times if our answers don't come quick enough, we think that God has left us on hold, so to speak, and we think God apparently needs our help to rush the process. And then we start to try to fix or solve our own problems and usually we end up in a worse situation. Also, the devil will tell us during this critical waiting period, that God has forgot about us and will try bring discouragement and weariness to us. But David said in Psalms 27:14, "Wait on the Lord and be of good courage and he will strengthen you heart, wait I said on the Lord." God knew that we would be eventually grow tired of waiting and that is when His word encourages us that after we waited will soar as eagles and run like the cheetah's and walk without becoming tired and frustrated. There is a reward for waiting. Be encouraged and know that waiting is not time wasted, but time for development. After we have waited we can EXPECT to soar, to receive the promises of God no matter the length of our waiting. So be not weary in well doing for in due season we SHALL (a promise) reap if we faint not.
Have A Blessed Day!

This was an incredible word. I thank God for Evang. Donna Gordon. I was at the point of becoming weary in well doing. Needless to say, her message was right on time for me.
God bless you richly!
